Summary

Use SMTP when integrating with an existing mail relay or provider that exposes authenticated SMTP endpoints.

After completing this guide, SkyCMS will deliver outbound email through the configured SMTP relay using the supplied host, port, and authentication settings.

Steps

1. Navigate to Settings → Email in the SkyCMS admin panel.
2. Select SMTP as the provider.
3. Enter the required fields: host, port, username, password, sender address, and TLS or SSL mode.
4. Click Test to send a test message and confirm delivery.
5. Click Save and verify using the checklist below.
